Feeder lambs are generally best acquired just before the flock has been turned out to grass – usually on or about May 1st – while they are still on a creep ration. If you intend to feed on grain, you can avoid the stress of changing feed types and related gastrointestinal problems. Crow Haven Farm will send your feeder lamb home with a starter supply of creep ration so you will have no changeover difficulties. We will also continue with the vaccinations.

If you wish, we can help you with additional vaccinations as needed.

We can refer you to a large animal vet and help you with ongoing care.
