Our Stud Fee is $500 and is payable at time of service. Three pups is considered a litter. If your bitch does not conceive or has a litter smaller than three, we will service her again at your convenience. It is not imperative to perform this breeding with the dog that "missed." |

Bitches are accepted at Crow Haven only after they have been examined by a veterinarian for general "clean" reproductive system health, confirmation of heat cycle by vaginal smear, and testing to certify that they are negative for Canine Brucellosis. These tests can be performed by the bitch's personal veterinarian, who should then write us a note to confirm the test results, or by our veterinarians when the bitch is brought to be bred. The approximate cost is $40. |

| Please note: Some veterinarians use a Brucellosis test that gives results while you wait; others send blood to a lab, which means overnight information at best. If a "positive" result occurs, a retest is run, and this can take 6 to 10 days more. Please plan ahead - we only accept Brucellosis test results obtained within four weeks of breeding. | |
